Management Hunting & Population Control

Management hunts, also known as culling or population control hunts, are designed to manage wildlife populations within a reserve to maintain ecological balance and ensure the health of the habitat.

Our management hunts are typically conducted to control overpopulation of certain species, which can lead to habitat degradation and negatively impact other wildlife. The best time for management hunts is typically between April and September.

During this period, the bush is less dense, making it easier to spot and hunt the animals. The weather is also more favorable, with moderate temperatures and less rainfall.
